Practive with passive

 Do the following with a partner in your break out room.  One person will turn the assignment in on Canvas. Be sure to work together.  Also, write both people's name on the assignment. 

 

 Write sentences with passive verbs for the following subjects. Practice using different tenses.  Think about whether you need the "by agent" or not. 

Example: President Biden

Biden was elected 46th president of the US in November of 2020. (simple past tense)

  1. The delicious cake 
  2. Amy Chua’s daughters
  3. Assignments
  4. The Covid-19 vaccines 
  5. The newest iPhone
