 Vocabulary Log #3 (vocabulary list #5) : These are words from "Who Lives Longer" in Chapter 6 on pages 117-119.

For each word do the following:

1. Find the word in the article and try to guess the meaning of the word from context.  See how the word is used in the article.  That is the meaning I want you to find in the dictionary. Notice the part of speech that I give. 
2. Look up the definition in the dictionary and write it down

 3. Write your own sentence.  Use the part of speech that I give.  For example, if it says (n), use the word as a noun.

***All of your  sentences need to use an adverb clause or an adjective clause. Try to practice with both types of dependent clauses.  The sentences have to be about your life or what is happening in the world right now.  Underline the vocabulary word in the sentence.  Check for correct grammar.
